Come one, come all, and bring your friends!

Raise awareness of the importance of breastfeeding with us! We invite you to join us again this year as Toronto mothers join in a friendly worldwide competition to see which city can get the most mothers nursing at once in one place!

This year Evymama will be putting on a fun pre-event fashion show following registration. Evymama is looking for Mama Models to strut the "catwalk" in the latest Fall nursing and babywearing fashions! Fashion show will begin at 10am. Following the fashion show Evymama will be giving away 3 custom-fitted nursing bras: the 3 winners will have their pick of any bra in the store!

The big latch-on moment comes next, when we all get our kids latched at once!

Following the latch-on, there will be a light lunch and free classes on sign language, CPR, Babywearing Basics with Evymama, introducing solids, and more!

More lucky draw prizes will be given out throughout the event, so stay with us!

To cap the day off, Join La Leche League for their walk for breastfeeding!

Event will be held at Rosedale Heights School of the Arts (right across from Castle Frank subway station)

There seemed to be loads of mums that participated- it was great.. and loads of great prizes. Too bad it rained and the La Leche walk had to be held indoors.. but even that was fun. I'm glad we went... Lesley.

    •  I really enjoyed the BF Challenge! I thought the fashion show was fun and upbeat, and clearly the mamas who were modeling were enjoying themselves! I found the rest of the time in the theatre a little bit dry, except for the latch-on which brought tears to my eyes! The info sessions were a hit but space seemed cramped for some of them. I got to meet some new mamas which I always love. Can't wait for next year!
    •  Great to see lots of Moms breastfeeding. Would someone please share the following feedback with the organizers: I would have liked to be told (while there) at least an estimate of how many babies were breastfeeding at the event. I am all for breastfeeding awareness, but it felt like this event was more about maternity and breastfeeding businesses than about actual breastfeeding or raising awareness. I realize you don't need to "preach to the choir" about the benefits of breastfeeding, but if you could find a way to make this event more public next year it would be good (for example, do it in the middle of the Eaton Centre). Then it will raise awareness in people walking by. The noise of the numbers being read out was too loud and long. Try having all the numbers in the same range, don't rush breastfeeding moms to the stage, take single shots instead of group shots of the gift winners, and space the door prizes out throughout the pre-show too.
    •  Great Event. Looking forward to next year.
